The mission of danscores by Ofelia Loret de Mola is the creation of an energetic new repertory of dance-centered performance art. Loret de Mola looks at dance and contemporary life through the lenses of the vibrantly diverse New York City scene and the cultural continuum of her native Mexico. danscores engages modern dance technique together with multi-disciplinary collaborations. Dancers, composers and musicians, actors, writers, and visual artists (from plastic to video design) all rupture, sustain and meld their disciplinary vocabularies in quasi-narrative, quasi-abstract performance art. At the heart of danscores company is a deeply personal vision with growth, development, and exploration as founding metaphors.

danscores by Ofelia Loret de Mola packed an 800+ seat Theater during their fourth tour to Mexico in January 2008.

danscores by Ofelia Loret de Mola taught a 2 weeklong workshop in Kosovo in April 2008.

danscores by Ofelia Loret de Mola premiered two pieces in their NYC season at Joyce SoHo in March 2008. Every performance sold out!

danscores by Ofelia Loret de Mola presented a new version of Canonicemos a las Putas at DTW as part of Fielday in May 2008.

We are excited that our new work AVAILABLE SPACE, a site-specific performance, is scheduled to be premiere in September 2008 as part of Sitelines (Lower Manhattan Cultural Council) in collaboration with Celebrate México Now Festival and the River to River Festival.

danscores by Ofelia Loret de Mola was invited to be the image of Infiniti Cars for an advertisement campaign in Miami, LA, and NYC.
